Privacy, in plain language.
What we collect, where it lives, who can see it. Short answers up top; the legal detail is below for those who want it.
In short
- We collect what you log: mood, sleep, behaviour tags, optional notes — nothing about device usage or third parties.
- Data lives in your account, encrypted at rest, on EU servers. You own it.
- We never sell data, run ads, or train external models on what you write.
- Mira's reasoning uses Anthropic's API under a zero-retention agreement.
- Export or delete everything from settings in one tap.
Who we are
Littlemind d.o.o. is a Croatian company building a daily check-in tool for parents. Our service does not target children — only their parents or legal guardians use the app.
For any privacy question, write to privacy@littlemind.app. Our address: Ilica 1, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia.
What data we collect
We collect the minimum needed for the product to work and for Mira's pattern reading to be useful:
- Check-ins — mood selection, sleep hours, behaviour tags, optional notes you type yourself.
- Account — email, child profile names (first names only), preferred language, timezone.
- Billing — processed entirely by Apple or Google. We see only subscription status, not your card.
- Diagnostics — crash reports, anonymised; no IP address stored beyond 7 days.
Where your data lives
All check-in data is encrypted at rest on EU-based Google Cloud servers (Belgium, region europe-west1). Backups stay within the EU. We do not transfer your check-ins outside the EU.
How Mira reads your data
When you ask Mira a question or it generates a weekly pattern card, we send the relevant slice of your check-ins (the last 7–30 days, depending on the prompt) to Anthropic's API. We operate under a zero-data-retention contract: Anthropic does not store the data, and does not train on it.
No raw notes leave our servers without your explicit action (e.g. tapping "Export PDF").
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can: access, correct, export, restrict, or permanently delete your data, and withdraw consent at any time. All of this is available in the app under Settings → Privacy. If anything is unclear, email privacy@littlemind.app and we'll handle it within 30 days.
Children's data
The app is for parents. Children do not have accounts. We store only first names (or nicknames) and the structured check-in data the parent records on their behalf. Parents control what is recorded and can delete a child profile at any time, which permanently removes all associated data within 30 days.
Changes
If we change anything material, we'll email all active accounts and prompt you in the app at next launch. A version history of this page is kept publicly at github.com/littlemind/legal.
